Design

We help our customers to design excellent the services that provide value and meet the expectations of commissioners.
We offer a truly end-to-end solution: working from concept design to implementation. We can also evaluate and help refine services as they are being delivered.

Effective delivery isn’t always as straightforward as it seems. Developing and refining service solutions, finding partners and suppliers can be difficult and time consuming.
We recognise this and can provide independent assessment and analysis; help managing change during organisational re-alignment toward future commissioning intentions; and we are well placed to help find the right partners and suppliers to work with and to build supply chains.

  We worked with Broadspectrum on their successful joint bid (with MTC) to run Parklea prison in New South Wales. Our role was to design effective resettlement and rehabilitation services for the prison, in particular induction and case planning activities, programmes to address life skills and offending behaviour.

  In addition to the core prison activities the New South Wales Government requested options to deliver a payment by results post release programme. Our extensive experience of the Transforming Rehabilitation programme enabled us to develop an effective proposal drawing upon Broadspectrum’s existing footprint in NSW to provide specialist interventions for indigenous offenders. We went on to support Broadspectrum in the effective mobilisation of their service, providing on-the-ground expertise to turn design into reality.

  We have been providing business strategy support to NCFE since 2017 helping them to develop their justice sector offer and build on their existing prison education expertise and contracts including designing an approach to the MoJ Prison Education Framework.

  We worked with Interserve to mobilise the prison resettlement elements of their successful Transforming Rehabilitation bids. This included building the supply chain for delivery of services across all five of Interserve’s Community Rehabilitation Companies, from designing the specification through to engaging supply chain partners, designing key performance metrics and managing the mobilisation of the services. We have also provided business development support to two Interserve-owned Community Rehabilitation Companies and provided other expert advice to Interserve and their CRCs.
